The initial consultation takes up to 1 hour and includes treatment. Based on this session, you can decide together with your physiotherapist if you would benefit from 45 minutes or 60 minutes follow up appointments.

If you will be using medical insurance, please check your policy as some insurance companies require a GP referral before they will cover your treatment. If you will be paying for the treatment yourself, then there is no need to go to your GP first, you can phone us directly to book an appointment.

London Home Physio is recognised by most of the major insurance companies. Before proceeding with treatment, we would require:
• Your membership number, policy number and authorisation code for this episode of care
• Information about any excess on your policy
• Details regarding how many sessions you have been authorised for and when they need to be used by

At London Home Physio we have close links with GPs, consultants and other healthcare specialists. Your physiotherapist will be able to refer onto you the most appropriate professional for their expert opinion. It is our duty to ensure that you have the best and most efficient treatment possible to aid your recovery.

Any relevant information about your condition will help your physiotherapist to make an informed assessment, so if possible please provide your physiotherapist with as much information as you can including: X-ray reports, hospital discharge reports, letters from other health professionals etc.

All of our physiotherapists are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We can give you your physiotherapist’s registration number should you require this, and you can check for their details on the HCPC website.
